Not giving me what I need. Please attach logfile.log.1 and logfile.log.2. I need to see more info. - Mark
Sorry mark, I selected log type as Debug, and downloaded "logfile" and thats what it gave me. Please let me know what would help you.
Sorry, I should have mentioned. If possible, use a program like Putty or Snowflake which will list the files on the pi like File Explorer for windows will. You need to navigate to home/pi/NeoSectional. There you will see 4 logfiles. The one you downloaded is logfile.log, but there are 3 others which hold older information. They are logfile.log.1, logfile.log.2 and logfile.log3.
If you can get those and upload them they may help. From the log you posted I can see that weather is not being assigned to any of the airports for some reason. But I can't tell why that would be. So I'm hoping the other logfiles will shed some light.
Let me know if you need more info regarding getting the other logfiles. - Mark
ok. I was able to login to the pi via putty but im afraid i dont know much more as far accessing files from there 🙁
No problem, Putty isn't very intuitive in that regard. Grab winscp at https://winscp.net/eng/index.php . It uses a better graphical interface for files. - Mark
Thanks Mark. I do not seem to see "NeoSectional" however. see attached
Just Kidding...
Alright, to close this topic out, we (Mark) found the issue. It turns out I must have a grounded pin on my Pi and that was making it think i had a rotary switch installed changing the data the map was displaying. The work-around for this was to change all the rotary switch settings to "METAR". The map now displays all the correctly reported METAR colors. Thanks Mark!
Hi Mark
Been testing the code and hardware, been working great. I am posting in this topic, because I am experiencing the all White LEDs. I have a soldered board with a level shifter for the LEDs, seems to be grounded well, even running two power supplies, on for the LED and one for the Pi Zero. , haven't had an issue. Last night I turned on the sleep more, map went to sleep, and it the LEDs came on this morning just fine. But this afternoon, they were all white. After reading this post, I changed the default to TAF and even HEAT MAP, worked fine but when I changed it back to METAR, all white again. I tried to reboot, no change. Have a monitor hooked up, and it just scrolls the data like it usually does.
At one point, the LED for KIAS was green again, so I changed another airport to show KIAS, and it too would show green. So I thought I might have a corrupt file, and when I went to change the next airport, they all came back on.
So, any thoughts on what it may have been doing?
Thanks
If you don't mind downloading the logfile.log and posting it here, and also maybe a picture of both the board and also the wiring of the RPI, also tell me what your version number is, then I will be happy to take a look to see if I can see what might be going on. Sorry for the hassle, but we should be able to figure this out. - Mark

Here are all my log files. The lights haven't gone all white again, so not sure if they will help
But I did notice , the last couple of nights, they don't go to sleep at 22:00 anymore. Works fine, just won't go to sleep. I have checked that I clicked the radio button to activate.
Thanks
I'm glad the lights are working properly now. Regarding the timer, there was a bug that was fixed with version 4.344. I noticed you are running 4.342. So I would suggest that you update to the latest version. It fixes other bugs found as well.
One other note, in the Settings Editor go to the rotary switch settings and change the 'None' in positions 8, 9, 10, and 11 to 'Metar'. There have been a few people who's had RPi's with pins pulled to ground causing the software to think that a rotary switch was installed and since the data was sent to none, all the lights went to White. Changing this setting to 'Metar' ensures that Metar data will be displayed even if there is an issue with a particular pin.
Your logfile looks fine, I didn't see anything that caused concern. Let me know how it works once you've upgraded. There is a post where I discuss the various ways to update the software that may be helpful. You can find it here; https://www.livesectional.com/community/ls-v4/update-info/#post-429 . - Mark

The link worked for me. Just go to the Help Section and drill down into the 'LiveSectional V-4 and Update Info' for the post. You can search for update info as well.
Not sure why it didn't work for you. Sorry. - Mark
