This morning I noticed the Update time on the OLED display was frozen and the airports were not cycling as usual. I tried the refresh button and that did nothing. I finally power cycled it and the map didn't light up and I couldn't login via the web browser, I think maybe the RPI died. I swapped the MicroSD card with 2nd one I have for another map and lo and behold it works, So something I assume got really corrupted on the first card. Anything you want off of it before I refresh it?

No, I think this has happened to most people who work with RPi's at one time or another. It really sucks when it happens to the code you have been working on without a recent backup.

If it were to happen again, please let me know. - Mark

@markyharris Ok, good to know to keep a backup image of the SD card.

Do you think a weekly reboot would help to avoid the issue? Maybe Sat morning at 4am or something? Worth adding as a preference to select date and time?

Another good idea. I'll put it on the list I keep for future enhancements. - Mark

@markyharris I'll manually reboot every week to see if the corruption stops. Of course if it doest happen its not proof it works, but it certainly can't hurt.
